366 items
This year I will be both getting in some daily drawing practice and reducing clutter in my house with the
366 Items Project. Each day of 2012 (a leap year) I am selecting an item to give away, toss or donate. Before discarding, I am sketching the object in a 9x12 inch sketchbook.
The 366 Items Project will give me the opportunity to try different media and help improve my drawing skills. Also, I have a tendency to overwork things--I don't know when to quit. The time constraints inherent in this project will force me to be more spontaneous and less fussy.
To my family and friends: If you see something you want, it will be in the garage until the next Goodwill run. If you see something you gave me as a gift, I enjoyed it -- thank you -- but now it has outlived its usefulness.
